About Us

2nd Southam (open) Scout group provides a fantastic Scouting experience for boys and girls aged six to 18 years.

Here at Southam Scout group we are proud to be one of the most successful Scout groups in Leamington district. Indeed, we are so successful that we have seven sections – two Beaver colonies, two Cub packs, two Scout troops and an Explorer unit.

You will find a dedicated team of adult leaders who all give up an immense amount of their spare time to inspire, teach, and expand our young people’s minds.

Scouting is an international movement involving millions of young people and adults. Originally formed in 1907 by Robert Baden-Powell, it has grown from a handful of boys on an experimental camp on Brownsea island in Poole harbour to a truly global organisation.

In Scouting we aim to nurture an individuals character, inspire, guide and teach them new skills for their future, and a life time of adventure!
